A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the girl's face and hands: color the face, ears and both hands with skin peach, leaving the eye whites and little shine spots white.
2. 2Color the knit hat and mittens bright red, and the bench and its legs warm brown, dark brown for the shaded leg edges.
3. 3Fill the jacket with lavender purple and the pants and thermos with sky blue, with the thermos cap in light blue.
4. 4Add the cream fur collar, pom-pom and cuffs, and color the hair warm brown.
5. 5Color the ice skate blades medium gray and the blade tips light gray, and leave the skate boots white.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the jacket folds and under the bench for depth.
