A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky on the canvas in sky blue, leaving the sun, flower centers and small white rays uncolored.
- 2Color the sun and the shirt in golden yellow, then fill the face and hands with peach skin, keeping the eye whites and the teeth white.
- 3Fill the ponytail and hair with warm brown, and color the overalls and apron in royal blue, with the jeans in steel blue and cornflower blue.
- 4Paint the grass strip on the canvas and the bushes in grass green, then add the flower petals in soft pink and their stems and leaves in green.
- 5Color the easel, stool and paint jars in honey tan, adding the red, yellow, blue, gray and purple paint pots and the brush cup.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes on the hair and shadows under the sun for depth, and leave the white background untouched.
