Tea Party for Teddy and Duckling, True and the Rainbow Kingdom
Coloring guide
At a round wooden table, a smiling girl with curly hair in two puffy buns pours tea from a flower-decorated teapot into a cup. A teddy bear in a knotted neckerchief sits across from her on a stool, and a little duckling perches on the other side. Every friend has a teacup and saucer, with a plate of cookies in the middle. A round window behind them looks out on a rainbow and fluffy clouds, triangle bunting hangs across the top, and a potted plant sits on a shelf at the left. A woven round rug lies under the stools. Her vest is covered in stars, so there's plenty to color. Yellow and purple stars and a full rainbow in the window would be fun. Print this free page for kids and coloring fans of all ages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the wooden background: color the walls, tree trunks and the shelf in warm brown, leaving the white cloud and teacups for later.
- 2Fill the girl's hair puffs and the top of her head with dark brown, then color her face and the bear head and body in caramel brown.
- 3Color the duckling and the rug stripes in golden yellow, and add the table, stools and table legs in caramel brown.
- 4Paint the rainbow bands in sky blue, golden yellow, tangerine, leaf green and steel blue, and add the green bushes behind the rainbow.
- 5Add the purple vest panel, the bunting flags in warm brown, golden yellow, sky blue, tomato red and tangerine, and the flower pot in tangerine.
- 6Optional: Leave the white shirt, vest, teapot, teacups, cloud and shoes white, and add a few small dark lines on the wood for texture.
