A smiling girl with a long braid rides on the back of a friendly winged dragon as the two of them soar through the sky. She has a backpack, boots and a long-sleeved top, and she leans forward with one hand on the dragon's neck. The dragon has big round eyes, a wide grin, two small horns, spotted cheeks, and a curved tail with spots along its back. Its large feathery wings are spread wide, and a round belly with curved stripes shows underneath. A rainbow arcs down behind them toward fluffy clouds, with more clouds across the top and sides and small stars scattered around. Big wings and rainbow stripes are simple to color, so crayons and markers both work well. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the clouds and the lower wings with sky blue, leaving the small stars white.
- 2Color the rainbow arc from the outside in: bright red first, then orange, lime green, leaf green, and bright blue on the inside.
- 3Fill the dragon's body, head, and feet with fresh green, keeping the eye shine white.
- 4Color the belly stripes pale yellow, then add golden yellow to the dragon's horn and the round spots on its back and tail.
- 5Color the girl: peach skin on her face and hands, lavender purple shirt and sleeves, bright blue jeans, bright red boots, golden yellow backpack, and chocolate brown hair and braid, leaving a white highlight in her hair. Finish with the dragon's smile in rose pink and the upper wings in bright blue and orange tips in orange. Optional: add slightly darker strokes along one side of each shape for a bit of depth.
