A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green areas: color the armchair, both armrests, and the chair seat in grass green, leaving the white wall and background untouched.
- 2Color the grandpa's trousers and slippers in chocolate brown, and his sweater vest in royal blue, with his collar in ice blue.
- 3Fill the book's cover and pages in sky blue and light blue, then add the red shirt on the boy and the purple pants and pink top on the girl.
- 4Color the skin tones in peach skin, the boy's and girl's hair in caramel brown, and the grandpa's hair in light gray, keeping the glasses lenses white.
- 5Add the lamp shade in cream, the lamp pole in caramel brown, and the bookshelf and plant in the orange, yellow, and green tones shown.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker shade of each color along the edges to make the drawing look more lively.
