A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the two dads' clothes: color the left dad's shirt, sleeve and pants in medium blue, and the right dad's shirt in leaf green. Color his jeans in navy blue and denim blue.
- 2Fill the bedding next: the big blanket, pillows and bed edges in light blue. Leave the little hearts on the blanket white, and color the floor at the bottom in warm peach.
- 3Color the storybook next: the cover in sky blue, the open pages in baby pink, the bunny in cream, the grass in lime green, the bushes in leaf green, and the castle in light gray. Keep the cloud white.
- 4Add skin and hair: faces, ears, necks, and hands in warm peach. Color the dads' hair and beards in chocolate brown, and the girl's hair in honey tan. Leave the sock shapes white.
- 5Finish the details: the teddy bear in caramel brown with a pale sand muzzle and paw pads, the wooden headboard and shelves in honey tan, the books in cherry red, teal, golden yellow and sky blue, and the flower pot in tangerine orange.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of each color along the edges and folds to make the clothes and blanket look more shaded.
