Grandparents Day Grandma and Grandpa, CoComelon Style
Coloring guide
Grandma and grandpa stand side by side and smile in this CoComelon-style Grandparents Day page. Grandma wears a head wrap, a buttoned cardigan with flower-patterned trim, a collared blouse with a little necklace and a long skirt, her hands clasped warmly at her chest. Grandpa has a big mustache and a cap with a curl on top. He's in overalls over a short-sleeved collared shirt, with tall lace-up work boots, one hand on his hip and the other near grandma's arm. Bubble letters up the left side say "Happy Grandparents Day!" There's no background, so kids can focus on the two of them. Soft lavender for the cardigan and denim blue for the overalls make a nice pair. Grab this free printable PDF for your growing collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: color the faces, hands, and legs of both grandma and grandpa in warm peach, leaving the eye whites and the small gap beside grandpa's hip white.
- 2Fill grandma's skirt with lavender purple and her cardigan and sleeves with rose pink, adding the cream blouse peeking out at the front.
- 3Color grandpa's overalls and pants in royal blue, then use sky blue for his shirt, sleeves, and the rolled cuffs.
- 4Add the shoes and boots in chocolate brown and warm brown, with dark brown for the soles, and give grandma's hair and grandpa's cap and mustache light gray and forest green.
- 5Finish with golden yellow on the cap emblem and the title letters, then fill in the small details like the collar and the grandma's brooch in rose pink.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on one side of each shape with a deeper version of the same color to make the characters look more rounded.
