Grumpy Tom Gets a Hippie Hug in Tom and Jerry Scene

A tall bearded man pulls a grumpy, furrow-browed Tom into a side hug. He wears a headband, a sleeveless vest over a short-sleeved shirt with knitted trim, and a round peace-sign medallion on a chain. His nose is big and round, his eyes wide and startled, and one hand rests on Tom's shoulder. Tom's fist is clenched while he grips the man's other hand. At the bottom right, little Jerry stands with a nervous, wobbly smile and small motion marks that show he's shaking. Puffy clouds, swirling wind lines and a leafy tree fill in the background. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky: fill the wispy streaks at the top left and the small streak near the top right with sky blue, leaving the clouds and the background white.
- 2Color the bushes and tree leaves with leafy green, and the grass at the bottom with the same green; add a few dark forest green touches in the shady spots.
- 3Fill the cat with tangerine orange, including its back, ears, paws and legs, then add pale cream to the muzzle, chin and paws.
- 4Color the man's skin areas (forehead, nose, cheeks, ears and arm) with light peach, and cover his hat band and hat tuft with bright red.
- 5Fill the man's vest with ocean blue and his shirt with ivory, then add warm brown to the tree trunk and mouse body, and dark brown to the ground strip. Finish with golden yellow on the round medallion.
- 6Optional: Leave the beard, eye whites, cat eye highlights and tree highlight white to make the faces and beard pop.
