Gymnast Swinging on the Still Rings

A male gymnast swings on the rings in this black-and-white line drawing. One arm stretches straight up to grip a ring above his head, while the other arm reaches out to the side and holds a second ring near his chest. His body arcs backward with his chin lifted, and his legs extend long behind him with pointed toes. He has short dark hair and wears a sleeveless leotard with a belt line at the waist and long fitted pants. Straps run from each ring toward the edge of the page, with dark shaded sections on the straps. Free to print, this page works well for a sports unit. Try coloring the leotard in a national team's flag colors, then talk about how gymnasts build the strength to hold their bodies steady on the rings.
