UNSC Marine Standing Guard, Halo 4
Coloring guide
A single UNSC Marine faces forward in this Halo 4 page, arms angled slightly away from the body. He wears a visor helmet with a breathing mask, chunky shoulder guards and a chest plate with a raised center piece. Pouches are strapped to the hips and thighs, and heavy knee guards and tall armored boots complete the outfit. With no background, every armor detail is easy to spot and color. Along the top left corner you'll find the words UNSC Marine, and Halo 4 runs sideways down the left edge in the game's style of lettering. Kids who like a challenge with small panels and straps will enjoy this one. Olive green on the chest and shoulders, dark gray on the helmet and boots, and tan on the pouches keeps each piece distinct. Print it at home whenever you want a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the large green armor areas, like the torso, waist, and both legs and boots, with leaf green.
- 2Color the helmet visor, chest emblem, and the lighter armor pieces with light gray, leaving the title background and the outer ring of the title letters white.
- 3Fill the dark joints and recessed panels, such as the chest, hips, and thighs, with charcoal gray, and the neck collar and shoulder joints with sage gray.
- 4Add the orange accents on the shoulder tops and the hip pouches with tangerine orange and amber orange, and the forearm and knee details with dull gold and tan brown.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker shading in the corners of the green armor to give the suit more depth.
- 6Finish by going over the outlines of the title text and leaving the white background and small highlights untouched.
