Baby Blastoise-Style Turtle Splashing at the Beach
Coloring guide
On a sandy beach stands a smiling baby turtle with big sparkly eyes. A bottle-like spout on top of its soccer-ball-patterned shell shoots a long arc of water into the air, and drops splash all around. Ocean waves roll across the background, and a cheerful sun with a happy face shines in the upper corner. Down in the sand you'll spot a scallop seashell, a little starfish and some tiny pebbles. The turtle also has a small fin-like tuft on its head and chubby feet with round toes. Small hands can fill in the large shapes on the shell easily, and the water drops are good practice for careful coloring. Pale blue and sparkly aqua suit the water, sunny yellow the sun, and a mix of greens the turtle. Print the free PDF at home for kids and coloring fans of all ages. - 2Fill the shell's plates with forest green, then color the shell rim and the spout base with golden yellow.
- 3Color the water on both sides with ocean blue, and the spout pipe and its top with pale blue.
- 4Color the sun golden yellow, the starfish orange, and both scallop shells soft pink.
- 5Add cream to the foot pads, pale yellow to the lower belly edge, and coral pink to the open mouth.
- 6Finish with the raindrops and water spray in light blue and ocean blue, leaving the sand background white. Optional: add a little darker lime green along the legs for a bit of depth.
