Lion Leaping Through Ribbon Hoop, The Greatest Showman Page
Coloring guide
A young lion with a big fluffy mane jumps through a round hoop wrapped in twisted rope stripes and finished with three bows, one on top and one on each side. He's smiling with his mouth open, his front paws reach out ahead, and the tufted tip of his tail curls up behind him. A small round stool with triangle patterns sits in the ring beneath the hoop, and a scalloped arena wall with triangle flags and little circles stretches across the background. Large shapes and clear lines make it a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Golden yellow for the body, orange or brown for the mane, and red and blue for the bows would work well. - 1Color the lion's body, legs and paws in golden yellow, leaving the cream muzzle and the white background areas for later.
- 2Fill the big mane around the face and the back of the head with chestnut brown, and the tail tip with deep brown.
- 3Color the hoop and the bow in lemon yellow and bright red stripes, alternating them along the ring.
- 4Color the circus bunting and the drum in sky blue and bright red triangles, then add the white dots on the drum and bunting.
- 5Add the cream muzzle, coral pink ears and tongue, and the golden yellow tones on the chest; keep the eye whites and background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little rust brown shading on the mane edges and a touch of light gold on the lion's cheeks for depth.
