Waving Jet Boot Robot Page from the Dog Man Collection
Coloring guide
This cheerful little robot zooms across the sky on two rocket boots with flames shooting out, waving hello with one raised claw hand. Its square, screen-style head has big sparkly eyes, an open smile, a small antenna on each side and headphone-like ear pieces. The blank rectangular panel on its chest is just right for a number, a name or a tiny design of your own. Fluffy outlined clouds float around it, a bright sun with straight rays sits in the top corner, and more clouds run along the bottom. With big shapes and clean lines, it works well for preschoolers and early elementary kids using crayons or markers. Silver and blue for the robot with orange and yellow flames is a good start. Grab the free PDF and print a few spare copies at home. This fits right in with our Dog Man coloring pages — see also Naruto and Transformers.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big background clouds and the sky around the robot with light blue, leaving the sun's inner glow for later.
- 2Color the robot's head screen, the upper arm, and the leg parts with sky blue, keeping the eye whites and the small gap at the shoulder white.
- 3Fill the torso, the raised hand, and the left hand with bright red, and the bottom of the torso with charcoal gray.
- 4Color the arms, boot tops, the sun rays and the chest panel with bright yellow, then add golden yellow to the jet nozzles.
- 5Add the headphones in bright red and orange, the mouth in soft pink with dark red inside, and the antennas in yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the sides of the torso and boots to make the robot look more rounded.
