Pond Paddling Puppy and Ducks, a Dog Man Printable
Coloring guide
This floppy-eared puppy paddles through a pond with a big open-mouth smile, tongue out and both front paws splashing above the water. Three little ducks float close by, one on each side and one in the lower left corner. Lily pads and two lotus-style water lilies drift along the bottom, and small splash droplets burst around the pup's paws. Grass tufts and puffy bushes line the shore behind the water, with two fluffy clouds overhead. Bold lines and big shapes make it a good match for young kids with crayons or chunky markers. Sunny yellow ducks, soft green lily pads and a warm brown or spotted puppy will stand out against blue water. Grab this free printable whenever you want a quick coloring break. - 2Color the dog's right ear with tangerine orange, then add cherry red to the tongue and coral pink to the inside of the mouth.
- 3Paint the pond water and the splashes around the dog and ducks with bright blue, and fill the top-left cloud with pale blue while the right cloud stays white.
- 4Color the bushes on both sides with forest green, the grass tufts with lime green, and the lily pads with leaf green.
- 5Fill the three ducks and their beak details with bright yellow, then color the lotus flower petals with coral pink and its center with bright yellow.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of forest green or bright blue on the shadowed parts of the water to give the pond more depth.
