Frog Gazing Up at a Dragonfly From a Lily Pad

Sitting upright on a big lily pad, a smiling frog tips its head back and stares with wide round eyes at a friendly dragonfly fluttering overhead. The dragonfly has a cheerful face, two curled antennae, four veined wings and a long segmented tail. The frog has spots on its cheek and back legs, and its open mouth shows a bit of tongue. Tall cattails with long leaves rise on both sides of the pond, and ripple lines mark the water. In the bottom corner, a water lily bloom rests on a smaller pad. Large shapes and clear outlines keep this free printable easy for younger kids, while the wing veins and lily petals give older kids some detail. Bright green for the frog with yellow spots would look good, plus soft blue and purple on the dragonfly's wings. If you enjoyed this Dragonfly page, don't miss our Puppies and Cats coloring pages.
