Water Lily Perch for a Happy Dragonfly
Coloring guide
A big water lily in full bloom is the resting spot for this smiling dragonfly, who has large round eyes and two curly antennae. All four wings are spread out with simple veins, and the striped, segmented tail curves down along the flower. Small pointed petals sit in the middle of the lily, while big rounded ones wrap around the bottom. Ripples ring the bloom, flat lily pads float on the water, and a few short wavy lines suggest movement. The thick outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and you can print it free as a PDF. Soft pinks and purples would suit the petals, bright turquoise the wings, and fresh greens the lily pads. Love this Dragonfly coloring page? You might also enjoy our Puppies and Cats coloring pages.
