Kitten in a Bandana at the Pizza Table
Coloring guide
A smiling kitten with big sparkly eyes is perched on a wooden chair, both paws resting on the table edge as it looks down at a whole round pizza. The pizza is already sliced and sits on a large plate, covered with pepperoni circles, sliced mushrooms and small olive rings. The kitten has a triangle bandana knotted at its neck, and its striped tail curls up beside the chair back. In the background there's a potted plant on a shelf and a framed picture of a sun over hills hanging on the wall. Thick, clear outlines keep things easy for little hands, and all those toppings mean plenty of small spaces to practice on. Orange and brown stripes for the kitten, red pepperoni and a bright blue or polka-dot bandana could be fun. A good free printable for a cozy afternoon at home or a classroom food theme. - 1Start with the cat's head and body in warm orange, leaving the two big eye whites and the small background areas white.
- 2Color the pizza cheese in soft yellow and the crust in warm orange, keeping the slices separated by their lines.
- 3Fill the table, chair backs and cat's tail with wood brown, then add the stripe on the forehead in chocolate brown.
- 4Color the pepperoni slices in tomato red and the bandana in the same tomato red, including the knot at the neck.
- 5Add light peach to the mushrooms, coral pink to the ears, tongue and nose, and leaf green to the plant leaves and mint green to the stem.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange along the cat's body edges and a touch of sky blue to the picture sky for depth.
