Happy Koala Walking With a Bundle on a Stick

A smiling baby koala strides along with its mouth open in a big grin, one back foot kicked up behind it. Over its shoulder it carries a long stick with a small knotted bundle tied to the end, like a tiny traveler heading out on an adventure. The koala wears overalls with a round button and an X-shaped cross on the strap. It has big fluffy ears with scruffy fur edges, a large oval nose, wide eyes, and a few tufts of hair on top of its head. One arm is raised and waving out to the side. The foot pads show a grid pattern, which makes a fun spot for detail. Try gray and soft brown for the fur, a bright color for the overalls, and a contrasting shade for the bundle. This printable page also works well for a story prompt: ask kids where they think the koala is going and what might be packed inside.
