Happy Long-Neck Dinosaur Beside a Volcano and Sun

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of the page stands a cheerful long-necked dinosaur with its head tilted a little, big round eyes and a wide smile. Oval spots run across its back and the tail curls up at the tip. A small volcano sits behind it, puffing out a fluffy cloud with lava trickling down the slopes, and a round sun with chunky rays glows in the top corner. Ferns and little tufts of grass tuck into the bottom corners. The bold outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and you can print it free as a PDF. Soft greens and teal look good on the dinosaur, and bright orange and red will make the lava streaks stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the sun's round center with golden yellow and leave its rays uncolored.
- 2Color the long neck, head, body, and back leg with light green, then fill the front leg with lime green.
- 3Color the volcano mountain brown, then fill the lava flows and the crater rim with orange.
- 4Fill the smoke clouds with light gray, leaving the outline neat so the shapes stay clear.
- 5Color the spots on the dinosaur's back with dark green, and fill the ferns and grass with forest green.
- 6Add pink inside the open mouth and cream to the toenails, leaving the eye whites white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the belly and under the neck for depth.
