Park Walk with a Leashed Puppy
Coloring guide
This fluffy puppy stands front and center with its mouth open, tongue out and bright eyes, like it's having the best walk ever. A collar with a little heart-shaped tag circles its neck, and a leash runs up to a person's hand that just peeks in at the right edge. Behind the pup, a big leafy tree with scalloped branches is on the left, a tall old-fashioned street lamp rises on the right, and rounded bushes and grass tufts line the path. Paving lines on the ground add a tidy park feel. Thick, clear outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Try golden yellow or warm brown for the fluffy coat, and red or pink for the heart tag so it stands out. Save it as a free PDF and print a few spare copies. - 3Color the sidewalk and path with light gray, and keep the open sky and background white.
- 4Add the bright red collar, heart tag, and leash clip in bright red, then color the leash and the sleeve bright blue.
- 5Color the hand peach skin, the tongue soft pink, the lamp glass pale yellow, and the lamp post charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: add a little amber orange shading along the neck and the front leg to give the puppy some depth.
