Puppy Resting Paws on a Basketball

Floppy ears, big sparkly eyes and a tongue hanging out give this puppy plenty of personality. It sits upright with both front paws resting on top of a large basketball, its little tail curling up on the left and a tuft of fur sticking up on its head. A hoop with a net stands behind it on a round base, and curved court lines run along the ground. Bold lines and big, simple shapes make it a good choice for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still gaining confidence with crayons. It's free to print for a sports-themed afternoon, a classroom reward activity, or a calm moment at home. Golden yellow or caramel brown suits the puppy, with a pink tongue and a bright orange ball with black seams that stands out against the hoop. This fits right in with our Basketball coloring pages — see also MLB / Baseball and NFL / Football.
