Here a happy little robot with a round head, tiny antenna and big round eyes tips a watering can over a row of flowers. It has striped, segmented arms, a round button on its chest, and two big wheels where legs would be. Droplets fall from the can's sprinkler spout down toward the garden. Five blooms sit along the bottom: three daisies with round centers and layered petals, with two tulips tucked between them, plus leaves and little tufts of grass. The bold lines and large shapes keep things easy for younger kids. Yellow centers on the daisies, red and pink tulips and a blue watering can would make the droplets pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the robot's head, torso, and legs with ocean blue, leaving the eye whites and the smile unpainted for now.
- 2Fill the arms, hands, and the wide shoulder area with light gray, and color the wheels and their tires with dark gray.
- 3Paint the watering can body and its rim with bright red, and the handle area with dark red for a little contrast.
- 4Color the sky blue on the robot's ears, hands, and the blue petals of the right daisy, then color the orange antenna base and right tulip with orange.
- 5Fill the purple daisy petals, pink daisy petals, and red tulips, then give the flower centers, wheel hubs, chest button, antenna tip, and sprinkler head a golden yellow fill.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading inside the arms and wheels with dark gray, and leave the eye whites and grass background white.
