Three smiling robots stand in a row, holding hands like a little family. The tallest has a square head with a round antenna, big friendly eyes, and a chest panel with three round buttons. The middle one has a round head and antenna and a single circle on its chest panel. The smallest has a cone-shaped head, a tiny antenna, an open happy smile, and a little heart on its tummy. All three have striped arms and legs, and the two bigger robots also have large rounded feet. With a plain white background, kids can focus on the characters. Thick, clean outlines and roomy shapes are easy for little hands. Each robot could get its own color family, say blue for the biggest, green for the middle one, and a bright red heart for the smallest. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the big robot's square head in light blue, then fill its neck, its antenna ball and the middle robot's round head with golden yellow.
- 2Color the big robot's body and upper legs in royal blue, its ears in orange, and its three chest dots in tomato red, orange and grass green.
- 3Fill the middle robot's body in tomato red and its chest square in light blue, leaving the eye whites white.
- 4Add light gray and sky blue stripes to the arms and legs, then color the middle robot's feet tomato red and the big robot's soles golden yellow.
- 5Color the small robot's head and feet, add a grass green top to its body, and fill its heart with rose pink; leave the background and gaps white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading with a slightly darker shade of each color along the lower edges to make the robots look rounder.
