Pancake-Flipping Robot Chef in the Kitchen
Coloring guide
Up goes the pancake! A smiling robot in a tall chef's hat and apron tosses it high with a frying pan, and that split second makes the page fun. The robot has a square screen face, big round eyes, round ear panels, and jointed arms. Nearby are a stove with three knobs and a burner, a big mixing bowl with a spoon, a smaller bowl, a stack of pancakes on a plate, and a checkered cloth on the counter. On a shelf you'll see a potted plant, with a spatula and spoon hanging below it. The shapes are large and clear, so young kids can color them easily. Golden yellow and light brown suit the pancakes, and a bright red apron would stand out. It's a free printable for a rainy afternoon or a cooking-themed lesson. This fits right in with our Robot coloring pages — see also Anime Style and PAW Patrol.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue mixing bowl and the robot's light blue arms, leaving the white apron and the white highlights in the eyes untouched.
- 2Color the robot's face screen pale aqua and its head frame golden yellow, then add the golden brown ears and the tangerine ear accents.
- 3Fill the cabinets with mint teal, the counter top with light wheat, and the stove with light gray, then add the slate gray oven door.
- 4Paint the frying pan with slate gray inside and tomato red on its rim, then color the flying pancake and the stack of pancakes in soft amber and golden brown.
- 5Finish with the small details: the pale yellow batter in the bowls, the leaf green plant, the coral pink smile and placemat corner, and the golden yellow hands. Optional: add a little darker shading under the arms and pan to make them pop.
