Happy Tree with Geometric Shape Leaves and Apples
Coloring guide
This friendly tree has a happy face and wide, open eyes, and it stands on a grassy hill. Its big round crown is packed with circles, diamonds and hexagons in place of regular leaves. Three apples with tiny leaves on top hang among the shapes, one on the left, one at the upper right and one at the lower right. Thin bark lines mark the trunk, and two branch-like arms reach up into the canopy. There are grass tufts at the base and soft bushes on the hills behind. It's a fun free printable for kids learning shape names. Color all the circles one color, the diamonds another and the hexagons a third, then paint the apples bright red so they stand out. The large shapes are easy for small hands to fill. Looking for more? Our Romero Britto style and Mandala coloring pages pair nicely with this Geometric page.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the tree trunk and its two branches with tree brown, then leave the face's eyes and smile white or add a small highlight.
- 2Fill the apples and the large round and hexagon shapes in the top of the canopy with bright red, and the bigger green shapes with bright green.
- 3Color the sky-shaped hill and the cloud on the left with pale blue and the grass patches with forest green.
- 4Add the diamonds and smaller shapes around the canopy in bright yellow, soft purple, hot pink, orange and coral, mixing them so no two neighbors match.
- 5Finish the apple leaves and small leaves with forest green, and color the tiny circles and the bottom tangerine and pale gold shapes last.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading at the edges of the trunk and the apples for a bit of depth.
