Kite Flying Troll Boy Running Up a Grassy Hill

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• light lime green
• orange
• pale blue
• golden yellow
• grass green
• forest green
• sky blue
• coral pink

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the troll's messy hair and the right kite triangle with orange, leaving the eye whites white.
2. 2Color the troll's skin, arms, hands, legs, feet, and ears in light lime green.
3. 3Color the tunic golden yellow, the shorts forest green, and the nose forest green, then add the golden yellow bow on the kite tail.
4. 4Color the left kite triangle and the three clouds in sky blue and pale blue, using pale blue for the clouds and sky blue for the kite.
5. 5Fill the tongue with coral pink and the grass tufts on the hill with grass green.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the hill's grass and the shorts to make the drawing look more lively.
