Puddle Jumping Troll Under a Leaf Umbrella
Coloring guide
Holding a big leaf over his head like an umbrella, this tall-haired troll leaps into a muddy puddle. Water splashes around his rubber boots, and raindrops fall from a small cloud in the top corner. He wears short overalls with buttons, and has pointy ears, a round nose and a big open-mouthed grin. One arm stretches out to the side while the other holds the leaf stem. Two spotted mushrooms and a few grass tufts sit at the edges. The spiky hair leaves lots of room for rainbow strokes, though turquoise or hot pink works well, and a fresh green suits the leaf. Wide, simple shapes go nicely with crayons and markers. Grab the free printable PDF and keep a few spare copies on hand. - 1Fill the big puddle at the bottom, the water splashes and the raindrops with sky blue, leaving a little white shine on the puddle.
- 2Color the cloud at the top left with light blue.
- 3Color the spiky hair with orange, adding a few lighter strokes so it looks like loose strands.
- 4Fill the face, both ears, hands, legs and the leaf stem grip with peach, keeping the eye whites and the small cheek highlight white.
- 5Color the shirt and sleeves golden yellow, then the overall shorts, bib and straps royal blue.
- 6Color the rain boots and mushroom caps bright red and coral red, the mushroom stems cream, the nose salmon, and the tongue and mouth pink, leaving the mushroom spots white.
