Harry Potter Sends Hedwig Soaring Skyward

A young wizard with round glasses and messy hair reaches one arm high while an owl lifts off toward the sky. Its big wings are spread wide, with a few little feather flecks drifting nearby, and a small rolled bundle seems to be held in its talons. The boy looks like Harry Potter sending off Hedwig. He wears a long black robe over a striped shirt and sneakers, and the lining of the robe is dotted with stars. The page has no background, which leaves room to enjoy the feathers and the big flowing robe. It's a nice free printable for a rainy afternoon or a story-time craft. Deep midnight blue and purple work well for the starry lining, and soft browns with creamy white suit the owl. This fits right in with our Harry Potter coloring pages — see also Shimmer and Shine and 101 Dalmatians.
