Sideways Bald Figure Cupping Head, Turn the Page to Color

Coloring guide
A bald figure lies on its side in this drawing, so the page works best if you turn it a quarter turn before coloring. The face has two narrow eyes, slightly parted lips and light dashed lines for creases on the forehead and cheeks. No nose is drawn. Two large hands frame the head. One rests flat above it with the fingers pointing toward the face, and the other cups the jaw from below. Shoulders and clothing with long folded lines run along the right edge. Try pale grays or soft creams for the skin, then use darker shades in the clothing folds so they stand out. It's also a good page for talking about how artists show wrinkles and fabric with simple lines. A free printable copy is easy to run off for a quiet afternoon.
