Hay Bale Farmer Loading a Wagon Beside His Horse

Lifting a hay bale on his pitchfork, a smiling farmer in a wide-brimmed hat, plaid shirt and overalls swings it up onto a wooden wagon that already has more bales on it. A friendly horse in a harness is hitched to the cart and looks straight out of the page. Behind them stand a big barn with crossed-board doors, a tall silo, a split-rail fence, wooden barrels and a leafy tree on the left. Rolling fields and a few birds fill the distance, with daisy-like flowers and grass tufts in the front corners. Kids who like lots of detail will enjoy the wagon wheel spokes and barn boards. Golden hay, a red barn and a chestnut horse with a darker mane would look great. It's a free printable for a farm unit or a quiet coloring afternoon. Love this Farmer coloring page?
