Head Profile Facing Right With Brain and Spine Inside

Coloring guide
A human head is shown in side profile, cut away to reveal the brain and the top of the spine. The face looks to the right, with only a simple outline for the forehead, nose, lips and chin. Inside the skull you can see the folded, wavy surface of the large brain, the curved band in the middle, the small round cerebellum with its branching pattern at the back, and the brain stem running down into the neck. The stacked bones of the neck vertebrae are drawn along the bottom, with the skull layers shown as a dotted band around the top. Try coloring each main part a different color, then use a simple labeled diagram to name them. This free printable works well for a science lesson on how the brain connects to the spinal column.
