Hedgehog Relaxing Under Tree With Falling Leaves
Coloring guide
A little hedgehog lies back against the base of a big tree, smiling up at the leaves drifting down around it. Its front paws are folded on its belly and one foot is crossed over the other, so it looks completely at ease. The spiky fur along its back has plenty of pointed shapes to color. Behind it, the tree trunk has long bark lines and a narrow hollow with two tiny dots that look like eyes peeking out. Leaves cover the ground, and there are tufts of grass, two small mushrooms, and round bushes in the background. Overhead, more leaves hang from the branches. Try warm oranges, reds, and yellows for the leaves, then use two or three browns for the hedgehog's spikes so the fur looks layered. This free printable also works well for a quick talk about what animals do in autumn.
