Hedgehog Waiting Beside a Spiral Maze of Forest Plants

A smiling hedgehog sits in the lower left corner, its round body covered in short dashed spines, with a pointed nose and little feet showing. Beside it, a winding maze of looping paths fills the middle of the page, ending in a spiral near the top center. Around the maze you can see a spotted mushroom, a few leafy trees, thin evergreen-style trees, small leaf sprigs, grass tufts, and tiny V-shaped marks scattered across the background. Kids can use a pencil to trace the route from the hedgehog to the spiral, then switch to crayons for the coloring. Try warm browns and tans for the hedgehog, a red cap with white dots for the mushroom, and autumn oranges and yellows for the leaves. The wide paths are easy for small hands, and the printable page works well for quiet time, fine motor practice, or a fall classroom break.
