Hedwig Delivers a Letter, Harry Potter Owl Coloring

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big wings: color the left and right wing bodies and the lower wing tips in light gray, leaving the white highlight streaks between the feathers unfilled.
2. 2Fill the title letters H, e, d, w, i and g in golden yellow, including the small swirl on the left of the H and the dot over the i.
3. 3Color the envelope in pale cream yellow, keeping the folded flap and both sides bright and clean.
4. 4Add golden yellow to the owl's feet and beak, then color the owl's lower feathers in light gray.
5. 5Leave the owl's face, chest, head top and beard white so the feathers look soft and fluffy.
6. 6Optional: Add a little light gray shading along the edges of the wings and a touch of extra yellow inside the title letters for depth.
