Over a sunny beach, a smiling pilot in a helmet and headset waves from the cockpit of a hovering helicopter, and two children down on the sand wave back. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and sea areas: color the ocean waves and the window glass in light sky blue, leaving the clouds and the seagulls white.
- 2Fill the helicopter body, nose, and tail in bright red, then color the rotor blades and tail propeller in cool gray with the rotor hub in brick red.
- 3Color the palm leaves in bright green and the bushes in leaf green, using warm brown for the palm trunks.
- 4Add the boy's shirt in orange, his shorts in royal blue, and his hair in dark brown, then color the girl's dress in lavender purple and her hair in lemon yellow.
- 5Color the umbrella on the left in bright red and the one on the right in royal blue, keeping the stripes white, then add the golden yellow sandcastle and the lemon yellow stripe on the helicopter.
- 6Optional: Finish with peach skin tones for faces and hands, keep the sailboat sails and beach towel white, and add slate gray to the landing skids.
