Rescue Helicopter Lowering Rope to Waving Hiker
Coloring guide
At the top of the page a rescue helicopter hovers, and a smiling crew member in a helmet and flight suit hangs from a cable. He grips the line with one hand and stretches the other toward the ground. A cheerful hiker wearing a beanie and a backpack sits on a rocky ledge below and waves up at him. Pointed mountain peaks fill the middle, and tall evergreens stand along the left and right edges. Young colorists get plenty to work on, from the helicopter windows and tail rotor to the harness straps and boots. Red or orange for the helicopter and flight suit will make the rescuer stand out against blue-gray mountains. This one is free to print and needs no sign-up. - 3Color the rescuer's helmet and the hiker's hat in golden yellow and bright blue, then add warm peach to the faces.
- 4Fill the rescuer's suit with tangerine orange and the hiker's shirt and backpack straps in grass green and violet purple, keeping the rescuer's pants white.
- 5Color the pine trees in forest green, the rocks in light gray, the mountain in steel blue, and the rotor blades and skids in medium gray.
- 6Optional: add a few darker shadows on the rocks and tree bases with charcoal or slate blue for depth.
