High Kick Girl Power in a Karate Uniform
Coloring guide
Balanced on one bare foot, a smiling girl with a long ponytail swings her other leg high in a karate kick. Her fists are up in a guard position, and she wears a loose karate uniform with a knotted belt whose ends hang down in front. A freestanding punching bag on a round base stands on the left behind her, and a large window with a grid of panes takes up the right side of the wall. Under her feet is a puzzle-piece style floor mat with interlocking edges. The big areas of the uniform are easy to color, while the hair, belt, and mat give steady hands smaller details. A red or black belt on a white uniform gives a classic martial arts look. Save it as a free PDF for a quick coloring break. Fans of Girl Power coloring pages often like Wedding and For Kids as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- cornflower blue
- honey tan
- pale sky blue
- peach skin
- chestnut brown
- warm tan
- charcoal gray
- bright red
- light silver gray
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big floor areas: color the wooden floor planks honey tan and the blue exercise mat cornflower blue, leaving the thin gaps between planks as they are.
- 2Fill the window panes and the window frame area with pale sky blue, then color the punching bag and its stand with cornflower blue and charcoal gray.
- 3Color the face, arms, fists, neck and raised foot with peach skin, keeping the eye whites and the small shine spots on the eyes white.
- 4Color the ponytail and the hair with chestnut brown, then add the warm tan wood on the door frame and window sill.
- 5Color the belt and its knot bright red, and leave the karate uniform white, including the collar, sleeves and the kicking leg.
- 6Optional: Add a little light silver gray to the sleeve cuffs and a soft shadow of charcoal gray under the bag base to make the scene feel grounded.
