Hockey Face-Off With Referee and Cheering Crowd

The moment right before a face-off is captured in this hockey coloring page, which is free and printable. A referee in a striped jersey and helmet bends forward at the center, holding the puck just below his open hand. Two players in helmets, gloves, and ice skates crouch on either side with their sticks angled toward the puck. One player has a ponytail sticking out from under the helmet. Behind them, a crowd of smiling kids sits in the stands, wearing hats, beanies, and hoodies. Some are clapping and some have both arms raised. A goal net is drawn at the right edge of the rink. Try coloring the two teams in different jersey colors so kids can tell them apart, then use bright shades for the hats and jackets in the crowd. The referee's black and white stripes are a good chance to practice staying inside the lines.
