Hockey Puck Flying Into the Net With Crossed Sticks

Coloring guide
A hockey coloring page you can print for free shows a goal net with a puck flying into it. The puck has a small burst of spiky lines around it and curved speed lines trailing behind, so it looks like it just hit the netting. The net is drawn with a square grid pattern inside a thick rounded frame. Two hockey sticks cross in an X in front of the goal, each with a wrapped grip near the top and a curved blade with vertical tape lines at the bottom. The lines are bold and the spaces are fairly large, which makes it easy for younger kids to color. Try coloring the puck solid black with a bright color for the burst behind it, then give each stick its own tape colors so the two stand out from the net.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- light gray
- bright red
- sandy tan
- royal blue
- charcoal black
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the goal frame, the top bar and the two bottom base bars bright red, leaving the thin black outlines untouched.
- 2Fill the whole net area with light gray, working square by square so the mesh looks even.
- 3Color the stick shafts and the blade tips sandy tan, leaving the blade tape for later.
- 4Fill the tape bands on the blade ends and the wrapped handle grips with royal blue.
- 5Color the puck charcoal black and fill the speed lines near it with light gray.
- 6Optional: add a little darker gray along the bottom of the net and the lower edges of the sticks for a bit of depth.
