- 1Fill Tom's large body, head, arms and legs with slate gray, leaving the eye whites, teeth and white hands and feet untouched.
- 2Color Tom's belly and the chest area with light gray, then add the tongue in coral red.
- 3Color the armchair back, arm, base and edge in leafy green, and add the round button in golden yellow.
- 4Fill the floor boards with amber brown, Jerry's body and tail with chocolate brown, his legs with tan, and his ears with coral pink.
- 5Color the big star and the impact lines with bright yellow, add a light yellow shadow under the star, and add yellow patches on Tom's nose and cheek.
- 6Optional: add light shading on Tom's gray areas and a soft darker edge on the floor boards for depth.
