Human Lungs and Trachea Outline for Anatomy Lessons

Coloring guide
Two large lungs sit side by side in this simple outline drawing, with a ribbed windpipe running down the middle between them. The trachea is made of stacked rings and ends in a small split where it meets the two lungs. Each lung has a double outline, an inner shape and a thin outer band that follows the edge, and the bottom of each one curves outward into a pointed base. There is no background, no labels and no other organs, so the page is clean and easy to work with. Try coloring the outer band a different shade from the inside of each lung to show the layers, then color the tracheal rings a light gray or pink. Teachers can use it for a breathing unit, and kids can add their own labels once they have colored it in.
