Ice Cream Cone Treat for a Beach Puppy
Coloring guide
Sitting upright on a striped beach towel, a happy floppy-eared puppy holds a two-scoop ice cream cone in both front paws, tongue reaching out for a lick. Sprinkles dot the scoops and the cone has a waffle pattern, which makes fun little details to color. Behind the puppy, a sandcastle with a small flag stands near a bucket on the sand, and gentle waves roll in from the sea. A striped beach umbrella is planted in the sand at the upper right. The puppy also has a fluffy tail curling up behind it and a collar at its neck. Strawberry pink and mint green scoops with rainbow sprinkles will stand out against a golden sandy background. This free printable is a good pick for kids who love dogs, summer and the seaside. This page is part of our Puppies coloring pages collection — check out Duck and Reptiles too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the puppy's fluffy fur, head, body, paws and tail with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites and the nose shine white.
- 2Fill the sand around the puppy and the sand castle with pale sand, then add golden yellow to the castle towers.
- 3Color the ocean waves in light blue and the towel stripes in bright blue, leaving the white towel stripes untouched.
- 4Color the umbrella panels with coral red and burnt orange, keeping the umbrella pole and its shine white.
- 5Color the bucket and the puppy's collar in coral red, the tongue and strawberry scoop in soft pink, and the cone in warm tan, leaving the vanilla scoop white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker gold shading on the puppy's belly and along the cone's waffle lines for depth.
