Indiana Torch and Stars State Flag
Coloring guide
A rectangular flag outline holds a tall torch in the center, drawn with a flame at the top and a tapered handle below. Straight rays reach out from the flame toward stars on both sides. A large star sits above the torch with the word INDIANA curved over it in block letters. Smaller stars form a circle around the torch, and one more star overlaps the bottom of the handle. The flame has several pointed tongues that are fun to fill in. Try yellow and orange for the flame, then dark blue for the background and gold for every star. Kids can count the stars while they color, which makes a nice starting point for a talk about Indiana and its place among the states. The shapes are big and clear, so it works well for classroom or home printing.
