Friendly Wave From Jerry, a Tom and Jerry Favorite

Coloring guide
Jerry the mouse stands on his hind legs with one arm stretched high in a cheerful wave, mouth open wide like he's shouting hello. His oversized round ear, long whiskers and thin curved tail are drawn in clean, bold outlines, and the big oval patch on his belly leaves little ones a roomy spot to color. There's no background, which keeps things simple and makes this a good fit for preschoolers or a short quiet-time activity. Warm golden brown for his fur, soft pink inside the ear and lighter tan on the tummy work well together. The free printable PDF is ready whenever you need it, so keep a few extra copies on hand. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the head, lower body, legs, arm and tail in caramel brown, leaving the background white.
- 2Fill the big round nose and the top ear with soft pink, keeping the inside of the ear light and simple.
- 3Color the belly, muzzle, cheeks, chin and lower jaw with light peach to create the soft lighter areas.
- 4Add the open mouth in coral red, then leave the eye whites and the thin highlight on the raised arm white.
- 5Optional: Add a little extra caramel brown along the edges of the body for a bit of depth.
