Mourners Lower Jesus Into the Tomb

Six figures in long robes gather around a lifeless man whose body is being carried and lowered, with his head tipped back and one arm hanging down. Two figures in the back have halos, and one of them gently holds the man's chin while another supports him from behind. A bearded man on the far left lifts a lit torch and holds a small round jar in his other hand. A hooded, bearded figure bends in close at the front, and a woman with wavy hair looks down at the center. Rocky hillsides fill the background. The folds in the clothing are large and open, so they are easy to color. Try soft browns, creams, and grays for the robes and rocks, then make the torch flame orange and yellow so it stands out. It also works well for a quiet Good Friday talk about the story.
