K.K. Slider Strumming Guitar: Animal Crossing Coloring Page
Coloring guide
K.K. Slider is a sleepy-eyed white dog, and here he strums an acoustic guitar in a simple, bold-lined drawing. He stands upright with his head tilted down, and his half-closed eyes give him a dreamy, relaxed look. One paw rests on the guitar's neck while the other holds the body. You can spot the round sound hole, the strings and the tuning pegs at the top. Floppy ears, a round nose and patterned feet give small hands extra bits to fill in. There's no background, so kids can stick with the character or add scenery of their own. A warm wood brown for the guitar and a soft cream coat for K.K. would look right. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- caramel orange
- soft yellow
- bright blue
- dark brown
- pale tan
- light amber
- reddish brown
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the head, ears, arms and legs in caramel orange, working around the white eye areas.
- 2Fill the guitar body, neck and headstock with soft yellow, then add reddish brown to the headstock.
- 3Color the eyebrows, the paws and the lower arm with soft yellow and light amber so they stand out from the head.
- 4Use bright blue for the shirt collar, the shirt on the right side and both shoes, leaving the shoe soles white.
- 5Color the nose dark brown and the left foot pale tan.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the edges of the head and ears to give the character more depth.
