Six Chibi Villagers on One Animal Crossing Sheet
Coloring guide
Six chunky, chibi-style animal characters sit in a two-by-three grid, which gives kids lots of small pictures to color on a single page. Every character has a big round head and is drawn from a tilted, top-down angle. The top row has one with a pointed hat and spikes in a patterned tunic, plus a wolf-like character with spiky hair and a long snout. In the middle, a round-eared bear-type wears a flower-trimmed outfit, and a floppy-eared pup plays an acoustic guitar. Along the bottom, a pointy-eared cat has a curled tail, and a spiky-maned big cat wears a shirt with the number 2. Nothing is behind them, so each figure is easy to color on its own. Orange and black stripes would suit the big cat, and a wood-brown guitar for the musician. No sign-up is needed to print it at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big body areas: fill the gray villager on the middle right with light gray, and the cream bodies and tails with cream, leaving the eye whites and white patches untouched.
- 2Color the orange fox head at the top right and the bright orange fur on the top right character, then add light orange to the lower body of the middle right villager.
- 3Fill the green dinosaur on the top left with grass green, including its back spikes and hands, and use plum purple for the shirt on the top right character.
- 4Add brown to the patches, ears and feet of the middle left character, and use hot pink for the hood and ears of the bottom left character.
- 5Color the golden yellow details like horns, hooves, spikes, hair and cheek spots, plus light blue for the guitar, scarf and paws.
- 6Optional: Add a little black to the pupils and a touch of coral for the mouth, and leave the eye whites, highlights and white hands bright to make the characters pop.
