This hedgehog villager is drawn from the side in the Animal Crossing style, caught in mid-stride with one foot lifted and arms bent at the sides. She has round ears, big oval cheek blushes and a long sweep of spiky quills flowing down her back. A grid-patterned apron hangs from straps over her body, and a small ribbed tail sticks out behind. There's no background, so all the attention goes to the character. Each quill is its own pointed shape, which makes this a nice page for practicing coloring inside the lines. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large round face with pale cream, leaving the white spot and the small eye shines untouched.
- 2Color the quills on the back, the outer ears and the lower body with caramel brown, then add tan to the tips of the quills.
- 3Fill the inside of both ears with light pink.
- 4Color the cheek patch with chestnut brown and the nose, hand and front paw with dark brown.
- 5Color the shirt, its sleeves and the left arm with golden yellow.
- 6Fill each square of the blue apron with sky blue, keeping the tail stripe white. Optional: add a few darker strokes along the quills and apron edges for depth.
