Kanae Kocho Demon Slayer Portrait With Two Butterfly Clips
Coloring guide
Kanae Kocho from Demon Slayer faces forward in this portrait with a gentle, slightly open-mouthed smile. A large butterfly hair ornament sits on each side of her head, and the wings are filled with small oval and curved shapes that are fun to color one at a time. Her long, straight hair falls past her shoulders around her face. She has on a high-collared buttoned uniform with a small rectangular patch on the chest, and a haori with a diamond-shaped pattern drapes across her shoulders. With no background, the page stays clean and uncluttered for little hands. Soft lilac and pink on the wings, with a deeper purple on the patterned haori, will make the details pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face and neck in peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the small mouth highlight white.
- 2Fill the long hair, bangs and top of the head with lavender, keeping the pale edges around the face neat.
- 3Color the haori sleeves: mint green for the upper and middle parts and coral pink for the lower sections, leaving the inner lining white.
- 4Paint the butterfly hair clips with baby pink wings, royal blue dark spots and soft violet on the top right wing, keeping the clip tips white.
- 5Color the dark uniform in charcoal navy, then add light gray to the collar and chest badge and golden yellow to the two buttons.
- 6Optional: add a few dusty rose touches on the right sleeve inner part and light lavender shading near the eyes for a softer look.
