A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue rug on the floor using steel blue, and leave the ceiling garlands and background paper white.
- 2Color the wooden floor and table in caramel brown, then fill the sofas and the hedge outside the window with fresh green and grass green.
- 3Fill the boy's blue hoodie and the girl's jeans with cobalt blue, and color the tan pants of the tall boy with sand tan.
- 4Add the red curtains in tomato red, the purple dress in violet purple, and the pink sweater in rose pink, leaving the heart shape in blush pink.
- 5Color the skin tones in peach skin, leave the eye whites and teeth white, and finish the party horns in pale lime with the maracas and sunny yellow sleeves last.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the folds of the purple dress and under the hoodies to make them look more three-dimensional.
